Mike drives the overall distribution strategy for GuideOne Insurance, The Mutual Group’s founding member, by expanding market presence through all channels and agency relationships. Mike and his team shape and innovate the next generation of distribution capabilities, positioning The Mutual Group to proactively support the evolving distribution needs of current and future members. Mike brings over 20 years of experience serving in personal and commercial lines underwriting, product, sales and operations roles.

Before joining The Mutual Group, Mike served as vice president of Personal Lines Business Optimization at Nationwide Insurance. He had been with Nationwide since 1997, holding positions of increasing responsibility during his tenure.

Mike serves on the Grand View University Board of Trustees and is an Advisory Board Member for the Vaughn Institute at the University of Iowa. He is a graduate of Simpson College.
